World Markets: Chichicastenango’s Covered Markets

David’s Been Here brings us into the town of Chichicastenango after a bumpy ride in on the local ‘chicken bus’. Known for their large covered markets, David takes us on a colorful tour through the vendors selling clothes, backpacks, art, fruit, veggies, textiles and more, with a few tips on haggling with the local sellers. Take a walk through the town’s history alongside the murals painted on the market walls, or simply wander the lanes of endless shopping for a great local experience.
