Sweet Southern Dessert Breakfast + Mississippi Distillery Tour in Jackson, Mississippi

This video is in partnership with Visit Jackson MS. Sweet Southern Dessert Breakfast and Mississippi Distillery Tour in Jackson, Mississippi!

During my last day in Jackson, Mississippi I headed out for an all out southern dessert breakfast at Broadstreet Bakery. I ate the usually Chicken Biscuit with Cheese Grits but I was in for a treat because this place has some of the tastiest sweets in town. I had their Cowboy Cookie and Crack Pie, they were both out of this world!

Next we headed to the Pearl River to go Kayaking with Pearl River Kayaking. Angi the owner gave me a 30 minute tour of the river and I got some epic drone shots for you guys!

From there we headed to Fine and Dandy to eat some lunch. Fine and Dandy has some of the best Southern fusion food in Jackson. I tried three amazing dishes: Tater Tots We Didn’t Make, The World Ribs in Town and the Party Balls, plus a delicious Mississippi Saison. Those bbq ribs were some of the best I have ever had!

Lastly I headed to Cathead Distillery right next to Downtown Jackson. This was the first distillery to open in Mississippi after prohibition ended. I got a tour of the distillery then I tried some of their Vodka, Gin and Chicory Liqueur.
