Celebrity Travel Addicts: Hannah Martin of Intrepid Introvert

In this Celebrity Travel Addicts Q & A we talk with Hannah Martin from Intrepid-Introvert. We learn about how this New Zealander created a nomadic life for herself (and how you can perhaps do it too). Check out some of her favorite destinations and where she is going to next!

How did your passion for travel get started?

Since I was young I always somehow knew travel would be a big part of my life. I would dream of far off places and landscapes. When I was 21 I went off on my first big trip- it was to Vietnam; traveling through the country for 1 month. I loved every second of it! I didn’t wanna go home after that month was up.

How many days/weeks are you traveling in any given year? What are the types of places do you like to visit?

I’ve been traveling about 10 months of the year for 3 years now.

I love to visit places with incredible natural scenery. Or smaller towns with chill vibes but still plenty to do.

What is it that you want audiences to gain/ learn from your work videos and photography?

Basically my aim is to help introverts feel empowered. I’m introverted and it took a while for me to accept myself. There seemed to be a negative connotation attached with the word. I thought I would never be successful and I was super shy and awkward (still am sometimes haha). Going out and traveling has helped me become confident with who I am. So I want introverts who are in the same boat that I was in, to find that something that gives them confidence and start working towards self acceptance.
