Well, I’m a Sagittarius, so it’s sort of an innate trait lol but, I’ve always had this natural curiosity to explore the great unknown and travel as far away as I could and submerge myself in a new country and culture.
Travel is good for the soul, and it really is a privilege to get to do it. Traveling has not only been something that I do, but it has been something that has become a part of me. It’s important for our growth as spiritual beings, no matter how you look at it, travel is true transformation as it takes you completely out of your comfort zones.
My channel is more of a spiritually inclined channel, I tend to visit lots of temples while in India and go to some of the holiest places, like Rishikesh and Varanasi and interview priests, etc. When traveling in the U.S or other places, I tend to visit more spiritual type cities, but I keep it fun and engaging and feature lots of artists and do lots of good deeds in hopes to inspire people to do the same.
Well, I’ve been going to India for almost 4 years now, and each time I go it’s like going to a different planet. There really is no place like India. Everywhere you look something crazy or interesting is happening. The place only offers extremes. There is really no in-between. It’s constant stimulation and I just love that. When I come back to the US after being in India it just seems so dull in comparison!
It was a little intense the first week it went on lockdown. I was alone and at times scared due to the whole panic about the virus and how difficult it was to get food during the first few days, but as time progressed it got easier. I’ll never forget how gracious everyone was towards one another, foreigners and locals. We checked up on each other, shared food, and did yoga together in my building’s complex. Luckily I was in beautiful Goa and the state had zero COVID deaths, so restrictions started to lift and I was happily swimming in the ocean almost every day which made things a lot better.
Well, traveling to me is sort of a way of life. Generally, when I leave America I sort things to be gone for at least 6 months or so. I like to live in India as it’s obviously my favorite country, but it’s also close to a lot of other countries as opposed to America, so I can get to them a lot easier. I tend to like to live near the ocean and with other free-spirited, conscious people like me. I love community/village living.
I’d really like them to get out of their comfort zones and not be afraid to travel, and to remember that this life is a precious gift and we should enjoy it the fullest!
India, Indonesia (Bali), and Iceland! The 3 “I’s!”
Udaipur, Rajasthan is one of my favorite cities in India. I celebrated Holi there 2 years ago and it is truly a romantic and picturesque city.
I’ve lost count, but pushing 30!
Hmmm, well, of course, Indian, second Mexican, and Ethiopian!
Hmm, can’t really say I have one as I much prefer smaller mom & pop type of places, but some of the best Indian food I had in India was at this restaurant called “Delhi Darbar”
Into the Wild – it’s a story about a free-spirited traveler and nature lover that shuns all materialistic possessions and goes out on a journey of self-discovery, forming beautiful friendships with everyone along the way. it does have a sad ending, but he was extraordinary and definitely on to something.
Hmm, I’d have to say Mumbai’s international airport as it’s new and I’ve spent a lot of time in there lol they have lots of cool shopping, delicious Indian/Western restaurants, a bookstore, electronic store, and even a Starbucks! The facilities are super clean and the outside decor looks very supernatural!
I think Indians are the friendliest and most welcoming people, so it’s hard to pinpoint it to a specific city, but I loved the smaller village type people as they were so genuine and welcoming.
haha, I have a few. In India I love traveling around with my friend/assistant Pratik, we really love traveling and vibe well together, plus he is an amazing assistant who always has great vlog ideas and makes things a lot easier for me. In the U.S my best friend, Filip, energetically we vibe well together, have a lot of the same interests, and don’t get stressed out during stressful situations.
Hmm, I don’t like to kill time when traveling as every minute is special!
India of course! Each state has a different feel, and I especially love the exotic Goa beaches!
Be in it, it’s all about the journey, the good, the bad etc. Enjoy every second, the delays, the frustrating times, language barriers, etc. It’s not only a journey of travel, but of spiritual transformation.
A good moisturizer, a very specific lip balm, good music on spotify, and of course, my vlogging cameras!
Well, it was India, and I’ve already been there, but there is still so much to explore which could take a lifetime!
“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us. -Robyn Yong
Given the current global coronavirus pandemic, I won’t be traveling internationally for a while, but this gives me the perfect opportunity to explore lots of places here in America I still have yet to explore! In fact, I just got back from a 2 week road trip, we visited Sedona Arizona, Zion National Park in Utah, and stopped in Vegas on the way back to LA!
A free spirit by nature, I embarked on a whirlwind journey around the globe in 2018. Traveling and immersing myself deep within new cultures has transformed the way that I look at life. My YouTube channel is about the power of human connection, and the magic that happens when we step outside of our comfort zones and trust that life is always on our side. I believe in spreading love and good deeds everywhere I go. Subscribe to follow along my journey, and get inspired with me!
