2004 Tsunami in Sri Lanka: DBH Visits Hambantota

In this episode of Sri Lanka Unplugged, before heading back to Colombo, David stops in the coastal town of Hambantota, which was completely washed away during the 2004 tsunami. In this town alone, over 3000 people died from the disaster and the small town (still being rebuilt) continues to feel the effects today. After grabbing some local lunch at the Golden Grill Restaurant, David returns back to the capital to continue his cultural tour. In a tuk tuk ride around town, David takes in all the main sites of the city, from the beachfront to the business district, all while battling the wild Sri Lankan roads.
