Marvels of the Ancient World: Touring the Epidavros Theatre, Greece

David’s Been Here is touring around all the beautiful, historic sites of Ancient Greece. A two-hour drive from Athens brings you to one of the ancient world’s most amazing structures: The Theatre of Epidavros. Built in 340 BC, this theatre is one of the best-preserved structures of its kind to date (still being used today) and can seat up to 13,000 people. In addition to its lasting construction and size, this theatre also boasts some outstanding acoustics, as David explains in the video. A combination of its size, acoustic foundations and ancient history make this one of the world’s most amazing sites to visit, and one of the most popular day trips outside of Athens.
