Touring Malawi’s Senga Bay: Crafts Markets and the Safari Beach Lodge

David’s Been Here is in central Malawi on its way to the beautiful Senga Bay. Stopping first at a local crafts market, David displays all the intricate pieces of handicrafts being carved on site. With over 40 vendors selling everything from hand carved tables to practical homeware, this market is a great place to pick up the perfect souvenir at an unbeatable price. After making a few great purchases, David and crew continue on to Senga Bay, where they settle down at the Safari Beach Lodge. Situated right on the lake’s shores, this lodging is a great place to relax and also experience some local wildlife.
