David’s Been Here is in Spain’s Castilla y Leon Region, where David is touring the vibrant city of Burgos. In this short clip, David brings us to one of the icons of the city, the Arco de Santa Maria. Built in the 14th century, this massive town gate is decorated with the statues of Castilian kings and heroes, leading into the beautiful Plaza Rey del San Fernando. Pass through the gate into this main square, and you’ll be standing at the foot of the beautiful Burgos Cathedral. One of the main sites of the city, you simply cannot miss the Arco de Santa Maria when touring Burgos. For more information on all the top sites of the city, check out the David’s Been Here Guide to Burgos, now available for your Kindle as well.
