In this episode, David introduces us to a Costa Brava town with a tongue-twisting name, Calella de Palafrugell. It is situated about an hour’s drive east of Girona.

David first reminds us not to forget our cameras when visiting this charming fishing village – as you can see, it’s one of the most picturesque towns in the entire Costa Brava region.
One opportunity you can’t pass up while in Calella de Palafrugell is a delicious meal of freshly caught seafood.
David visited during winter, which is why you will notice the town’s population is looking scarce, but make no mistake – summer brings big crowds to the beaches of Calella de Palafrugell.
