Today we’re spending the day in Doral, a city within the city of Miami. Doral is home to the highest percentage of Venezuelan residents in the U.S., so you know that we’re going to show you where to eat some delicious Venezuelan food.

Plus, we’re taking you to a local craft brewery, and lastly, we’re heading to SkyZone Indoor Trampoline Park to jump off all those calories! Come with me as we explore the three must-do’s in Doral!
What began in the 1960s as 2,400 acres of swampland and the prestigious Doral Golf Resort & Spa has evolved into a commercial and residential hub. Nowadays, Doral is the ideal place to go if you’re looking for authentic Latin American cuisine.
El Arepazo is one of Doral’s most popular Venezuelan restaurants. Here you’ll find all the good stuff – arepas, tequenos, cachapas, and more. My parents were actually born in Venezuela so I’ve been eating this food all my life. Tequeno’s are fried dough with cheese inside. A cachapa is basically a corn pancake with white cheese and the arepa is a must!
Next up is MIA Brewery, Doral’s first craft brewery. I am super excited to try their Tourist Trappe Belgian Ale, they say that beer is delicious. MIA has local owners who saw a great opportunity to enter the beer market in Miami. You should try their 305 Golden Ale and the Miami Weiss which is delicious wheat beer.
We’re at SkyZone Indoor Trampoline Park. I’ve never actually been to a place like this, but I grew up on a trampoline so let’s jump on it! They promote a healthy alternative, you’re getting a work out without thinking of it as a work out. You can free jump, play dodge ball, jump in the foam pit and the sky slam.
