Indian Food and Dessert Tour + Royal Tomb Hopping in Delhi, India

In this Indian Food and Dessert Tour we go all out trying lots of dishes and sweets! We also headed to see some of the must visit Tombs in Delhi, India. Today I met up with my friend Sparsh, and we headed on out on a Indian food and dessert tour. We first started with Chole Bathure and Gulab Jamun at OM Corner.

From there we headed to Gulabo one of the most famous sweets shops in Delhi. Here we tried Karachi Halwa, Motichoor Ladoo, White Rashbari, Rajbjog and Milk Ladoo. They were all extremely delicious and so different from western sweets! Next up we visited the Humayun’s Tomb. This is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and was commissioned by Humayun’s first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect chosen by her. It was the first garden-tomb to be built in India!

We then visited Lodhi Gardens to see three different tombs. When we got there we had to try Bhel Puri a Mumbai dish, it was fantastic! For lunch we headed to Kulcha Junction to eat Amritsari Kulcha from the city of Amritsar. Basically bread with different fillings and chickpeas. So delicious! Lastly we stopped in Connaught Place to eat Fire Paan. It’s probably the most unique food experience you can have in Delhi! Did you enjoy this Indian Food and Dessert Tour plus Royal Tomb Hopping?
