David’s Been Here presents a beautiful display of both new world and old world Athens. While digging to create the Athens Metro, excavations discovered loads of artifacts and foundations dating back to the ancient city of Athens. Instead of relocating the pieces to another museum in the city, the government created exhibits directly inside the Syntagma Station (Constitution Square Station), which David is displaying here. Check out the different layers of the city behind the glass paneling and all the different artifacts unearthed during the excavations. Truly a city of epic proportions, encounter both modern day and ancient Athens everywhere in the city- even underground.
