Local Traditions in Basque Country: Taking the Ruta de Pinchos in Vitoria-Gasteiz

David’s Been Here is in Spain’s Basque Country, where David is looking to do as the locals do in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz. Embarking on the Ruta de Pinchos, David takes part in this local tradition of going from bar to bar, eating different pinchos while enjoying a glass of wine at each stop. Though there are five stops on his pinchos itinerary, David only gets to two main stops: La Malequerida and Tabanco Taverna. Tasting their delicious pinchos alongside some refreshing drinks, you can get a feel for why the locals love this Basque tradition. Production by Carlos de Varona from Chromahouse.
