Navagio Beach – Zakynthos Island, Greece

Praia de Marinha – Algarve Region, Portugal

Cala Goloritze – Sardinia, Italy

No list of the top European beaches you must visit during the summer would be complete without a remarkable Italian destination. One of the country’s best is Cala Goloritzé, a white sand beach with glittering blue waters on the island of Sardinia.

Located at the base of a cliff, the beach was created by a landslide in 1962. Its isolated location means it’s only accessible via chartered boat or a 2-hour hike along the coast. It’s so breathtaking that it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
